In the taper now. Taper of course is the last days or weeks before a race in which you run less and let your body heal from all the training. The idea is to get to the line as fresh and fit as possible.
I have assembled a small support team to help on race day. They will be at strategic spots along the course to give me gel and a water bottle. These are crucial of course to stay hydrated and replenish some of the glycogen I’ll be burning.
